Australian
National Tide Tables (ANTT)
The ANTT contains information for over 500 ports in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Antarctica and East Timor. This information includes but not limited to:
- Predictions for high and low water for each day of the year for over 80 Standard Ports.
- Predictions of maximum rates of tidal streams for Torres Strait and Port Phillip Heads.
- Tidal stream diagrams for Sydney, Broome and Darwin.
- List of the main 22 harmonic constituents for all Standard and Secondary Ports.
- Tidal levels and time difference for all Secondary Ports in relation to the relevant Standard Port.
Further
information can be found on
the ANTT page.
Seafarer Tides
Seafarer Tides is an official electronic product that is equivalent to the ANTT. It has the benefit of producing a graphical representation of the tidal curve and predictions at 1, 20 30 and 60 minute intervals for each location represented in ANTT. Seafarer Tides is released annually in October and provides tidal predictions for the following calendar year. As required, update patches are available from the “Downloads & Demos” section of the AHS website.
For
information on the Seafarer Tides product please

Tides section.
Standards
The Australian Tides Manual (SP 9) has been produced by the Permanent Committee for Tides and Mean Sea Level. It can be viewed and downloaded from: http://www.icsm.gov.au/icsm/tides/SP9/index.html
Future
Publications
Other products are being planned include Australian Tidal Stream Atlas. The Tidal Stream Atlas will contain detailed information on the rates and directions of tidal streams in many locations around Australia where these data are of importance to navigation.
