The Australian Hydrographic Service currently
has over 400 paper charts as well as ENC & RNC
products. Below you can find some links to our Australian
Chart Index that contains lists of Australian Paper
Charts, ENC Cells, Seafarer RNC Region Packs, Seafarer
RNC Day Packs, links to Notices to Mariners, Thumbnail
Images and much more.
There are currently three methods of accessing
the Australian Chart Index (ACI). There is the Standard
ACI, the Advanced ACI and the GoogleEarth™ ACI.
Standard
ACI

The Standard ACI
provides both a Paper Chart and ENC Cell list
in an easy to read and navigate text-based
format.
Each list has
links for each chart or cell to provide access
to detailed chart information, thumbnail images,
Notices to Mariners, Seafarer RNC Regional
Packs, Day Packs and much more. |

Advanced
ACI
If you are after
a more interactive experience you could try
the Advanced ACI where you can use a zoomable
map to find your charts and information as
described in the Standard ACI as well as more
features such as Way Points.
If you are a subscriber
to the Seafarer RNC Products you can also find
a standalone version of the ACI included on
each monthly update CD. For more information
have a look at the Seafarer
RNC section of this website. |
GoogleEarth™
ACI
If you would like to experience a rich online mapping visualisation, you could try the GoogleEarth™ ACI. This version can be downloaded as a KMZ file that can be opened in GoogleEarth™ to view all of our Paper Chart and ENC Products.
Please note that the GoogleEarth™ ACI is intended as a visual information aid and is NOT TO BE USED FOR NAVIGATION. |
