What
is the Australian National Tide Tables (ANTT)?
The ANTT contains information for over 500 ports in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Antarctica and East Timor. This information includes but is not limited to:
- Predictions for high and low water for each day of the year for over 80 Standard Ports.
- Predictions of maximum rates of tidal streams for Torres Strait and Port Phillip Heads.
- Tidal Stream diagrams for Sydney, Broome and Darwin.
- List of the main 22 harmonic constituents for all Standard and Secondary Ports.
- Tidal levels and time difference for all Secondary Ports in relation to the relevant Standard Port.
Official Status of the
ANTT The
ANTT satisfies Chapter V of the SOLAS Convention
as amended in 2002 and promulgated for Australia under
AMSA Marine Orders Part 21, Order 6 of 2003, which
details carriage requirements for nautical charts and
publications necessary for the intended voyage.
How
is the ANTT updated? The
ANTT is updated via Notices to Mariners. The

of this website or accessed, automatically, via eNotices.
How
often is the ANTT produced?
The
ANTT is printed
annually. The planned release date is 1st October
each year.
