This
site uses a "drop-down menu" for
site navigation. This menu is always located on
the top of the window. By placing the mouse over
each
menu item, a drop-down list will appear that contains
links to each section within the respective menu
item.
All areas of our site can be accessed from
any page as the AHS navigation bar is located
on every page.
If you are having trouble finding certain information
you can use the Site
Map or you can use our
search facility to look for specific information.
2. Printing
When printing HTML pages from
this site, we recommend setting your print margins
as wide as possible (eg:
left & right set to 1.5mm) to prevent any truncation.
When printing PDF documents such as Notices
to Mariners, Blocks
and Tracings, ensure that your
printer settings
do not alter the size of the document (eg: do
not use 'shrink to paper size' or 'expand to paper
size').
3. Recommendations
This site will work best if you
are using the latest browsers preferably above
version 7.0 (Netscape)
or IE6 (Microsoft).
The recommended screen resolution
is 800x600 pixels or higher.
The Macromedia
Flash 8 plugin is required for the various online product
demonstrations.
To view the Australian
Chart Index (ACI Advanced), you will need to
have the SUN
Java 5.0
Plugin and JavaScript
enabled. Please note that the Microsoft
Java VM will NOT work with the ACI 3.1
