The Australian Hydrographic Service and Navy Hydrography and METOC Branch publishes a number of business publications annually. These publications offer an insight into the operations of Australia’s national authority responsible for the publication and distribution of nautical charts and other information required for the safety of ships navigating in Australian waters.

The HM Branch is committed to quality improvement and welcomes feedback on our publications, and in this instance the Australian Hydrographic Service Annual Report incorporating the Hydrographic Meteorological and Oceanographic Force Element Group 2008/2009.
Hydroscheme represents the Australian Hydrographic Service's (AHS) national surveying and charting program for the next three years. It is revised annually to ensure that the activities if the Australian Hydrographic Office (AHO) and the assets of the Hydrographic Survey Force (HSF) meet current and forecast requirements of both the Defence and civil maritime communities, throughout the Australian Charting Area (ACA). The Australian Hydrographic Service (AHS) also provides Maritime Military Geospatial Information (MMGI) and Services to Defence.
