The Australian Hydrographic Service and Navy Hydrography and METOC Branch publishes a number of business publications annually. These publications offer an insight into the operations of Australia’s national authority responsible for the publication and distribution of nautical charts and other information required for the safety of ships navigating in Australian waters.

Hydroscheme represents the Australian Hydrographic Service's (AHS) national surveying and charting program for the next three years. It is revised annually to ensure that the activities if the Australian Hydrographic Office (AHO) and the assets of the Hydrographic Survey Force (HSF) meet current and forecast requirements of both the Defence and civil maritime communities, throughout the Australian Charting Area (ACA). The Australian Hydrographic Service (AHS) also provides Maritime Military Geospatial Information (MMGI) and Services to Defence.

This HM Branch Strategic Statement sets out our vision and mission. It identifies the enduring goals and objectives which will keep us on track whilst we strive for continual improvement and development over the next decade.
The aim of this Strategic Statement is to provide clear guidance of where we are heading and what we must do to get there. It is the common passage plan for our organisation.
